1 For the one directing. On stringed instruments. A Psalm of Asaph. A Song. In Judah God is known, in Israel His name is great. 2 And His tent is in Salem, and his dwelling place in Zion. 3 There he has shattered the arrows of the bow—the shield and sword and weapon of war. Selah 4 luminous are You and majestic, from the mountains of prey. 5 They became plunder, the mighty of heart; they have slept their sleep, and the men of might could not find any of their hands. 6 At Your rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the rider and horse are lain asleep.
