For the one directing. A Psalm of David. I have waited patiently for, YHWH! And He inclined to me and heard my cry.

And He brought me up from the pit of desolation, from the mud of the mire; and He raised up my feet upon a rock, and has made firm my steps.

And He put in my mouth a new song—praise to our God. Many will see it and will fear, and they will trust in YHWH.

Blessed is the man who makes YHWH his refuge, and does not turn toward the proud, and those turning aside to falsehood!

Much You have done, O YHWH my God, and wonderful are your thoughts toward us—none can compare to You! Were I to declare and speak, they are vast beyond numbering.

In sacrifice and offering You did not take delight, You have opened the ears for me; burnt offering and sin offering You did not require.

Then I said, “Behold, I have come—in the roll of the book it is written of me.

I have delighted to do Your will, O my God, and Your law is in the midst of my heart.”

I have proclaimed tidings of righteousness in the great assembly; behold, I do not restrain my lips, O YHWH, You have known.
