1 Now Korah (bald) son of Izhar (shining oil), the son of Kohath (assembly) son of Levi, along with some Reubenites (behold a son)—Dathan (belonging to a fountain) and Abiram (my father is exalted), sons of Eliab (God is father), and On (wealth / vigor) son of Peleth (swiftness)—conducted 2 a rebellion against Moses (drawn out), along with 250 men of Israel (he wrestles with God) renowned as leaders of the congregation and representatives in the assembly. 3 They came together against Moses (drawn out) and Aaron (light bringer) and told them, “You have taken too much upon yourselves (You have gone too far)! For everyone in the entire congregation is holy, and the LORD {YHWH} is in their midst. Why then do you⁺ exalt yourselves above the assembly of the LORD?” 4 When Moses (drawn out) heard this, he fell facedown. 5 Then he said to Korah (bald) and all his followers, “Tomorrow morning the LORD {YHWH} will reveal who belongs to Him [God has visited and knows those who are His] and who is holy, and He will bring that person near to Himself. The one He chooses He will bring near to Himself. Numbers 16:1-5, Berean Annotated Bible. Public domain.
