16 From their fruits you⁺ will recognize them. Do they gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? 17 Thus every good tree produces good fruits, but the rotten tree produces evil fruits. 18 A good tree is not able to produce evil fruits, nor a rotten tree to produce good fruits. 19 Every tree not producing good fruit is cut down and is thrown into fire. 20 Therefore from their fruits you⁺ will recognize them.
