57 And, evening having come, there came a rich man from Arimathaea, whose name was Joseph, who also himself was a disciple of Jesus.

58 This man, going to Pilate, asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate ordered it to be given up.

59 And, taking the body, Joseph wrapped it in clean linen,

60 and laid it in his own new tomb, which he hewed out in the rock; and, having rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb, he went away.
