1 And it happened that, when Jesus had completed all these words, he said to his disciples, 2 “You know that after two days the Passover will begin, and the Son of man will be handed over to be crucified.” 3 Then the leaders of the priests and the elders of the people were gathered together in the court of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas. 4 And they took counsel so that by deceitfulness they might take hold of Jesus and kill him.
