3 And he sent his servants to invite those who had been called to the marriage: and they were not willing to come. 4 And again he sent other servants, saying; Speak to those who have been called, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatling are slain, and all things are ready: come to the marriage. 5 And they being careless, went away, one to his farm, and another to his merchandise: 6 but the rest, taking his servants, insulted, and slew them. 7 And the king was angry; and sending his armies, he destroyed those murderers, and burnt up their cities. 8 Then he says to his servants, The wedding is ready, but those having been invited were not worthy. 9 Go ye therefore to crossings of the roads, and so many as you may find, invite to the marriage.
