18 Now in the morning as He was returning to the city, He was hungry; 19 and seeing a fig-tree by the way, He went up to it, and finding nothing upon it but leaves, He saith to it, Let no fruit ever hereafter grow out of thee: and the fig-tree withered immediately. 20 And the disciples seeing it were amazed and said, How suddenly is the fig-tree withered!
