25 But Jesus, having summoned them, said, “You⁺ know that the rulers of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and the great ones exercise authority over them.

26 It will not be this way among you⁺. But whoever may want to become great among you⁺, he will be your⁺ servant;

27 and whoever may want to be first among you⁺, he will be your⁺ slave—

28 even as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”
