13 When the Magi had gone, an angel (messenger) of the Lord {kyriou} appeared to Joseph (he will add) in a dream. “Get up! he said. “Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt (land of bondage). Stay there until I tell you, for Herod (heroic) is going to search for the Child to kill Him. 14 So he got up, took the Child and His mother by night, and withdrew to Egypt (land of bondage), 15 where he stayed until the death of Herod (heroic).
