9 And He was asking him, “What is your name?” And he says to Him, “Legion is my name, because we are many.” 10 And he implored Him much that He might not send them out of the region. 11 Now there was near the mountain a great herd of pigs feeding. 12 And they implored Him, saying, “Send us into the pigs, so that we may enter into them.” 13 And He allowed them. And the unclean spirits, having gone out, entered into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea—about two thousand—and they were drowned in the sea.
