35 While Jesus was teaching in the temple courtyard, he asked, |How can the scribes say that the Messiah is David's son? 36 David, guided by the Holy Spirit, said, 'The Lord said to my Lord: |Take the highest position in heaven until I put your enemies under your control.|' 37 David calls him Lord.
