35 While Jesus was teaching {didaskōn} in the temple courts \the temple/, He asked, “How can the scribes say that the Christ (the Anointed One) is the Son of David (beloved)? 36 Speaking by the Holy Spirit {Hagiō Pneumati}, David (beloved) himself declared: ‘The Lord {Kyrios} said to my Lord {Kyriō}, “Sit at My right hand until I put Your enemies under Your feet 37 David (beloved) himself calls Him ‘Lord {Kyrion}.’ So how can He be David’s son?
