36 And one of the Pharisees was requesting of Him that He should eat with him, and having entered into the house of the Pharisee, He reclined. 37 And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner. And having known that He is reclining in the house of the Pharisee, having taken an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, 38 and having stood behind Him at His feet weeping, she began to wet His feet with her tears, and she was wiping them with the hairs of her head, and she was kissing His feet and was anointing them with the fragrant oil. 39 And the Pharisee, the one having called Him, having seen, spoke within himself, saying, “If this man were a prophet, He would have known who and what kind the woman is who touches Him—because she is a sinner.” Luke 7:36-39, Berean Literal Bible.
