Luke 21:34-36 ▼

34 And take heed to yourselves, lest your⁺ hearts ever be burdened with dissipation and drunkenness and the cares of life—and that day would come upon you⁺ suddenly as a snare.

35 For it will come upon all those sitting upon the face of all the earth.

36 But stay awake in every season, praying that you⁺ may have strength to escape all these things that are about to come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
