4 So Joseph (he will add) also went up from Nazareth (branch) in Galilee (circuit) to Judea (land of praise), to the city of David (beloved) called Bethlehem (house of bread), since he was from the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary (beloved), who was pledged to him in marriage and was expecting a child.
