Luke 10:1-6 ▼

1 Now after these things the Lord appointed seventy others; and sent them away, two and two, before His face, into every city and place, whither He Himself was about to come.

2 And He said to them, "The harvest, indeed, is great, but the laborers few. Pray ye, therefore, the Lord of the harvest, that He urge forth laborers into His harvest.

3 Go your ways; behold, I am sending you forth as lambs in the midst of wolves.

4 Carry no purse, nor wallet, nor sandals; and salute no one by the way.

5 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, 'Peace be to this house.'

6 And, if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it; but, if not, it will return to you.
