Leviticus 27:1-7 ▼

1 And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,

2 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them, ‘When a man makes a wonderful vow, in your valuation of his soul to YHWH,

3 your valuation, if it is a male from a son of twenty years and up to sixty years old, then your valuation shall be fifty shekels of silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary.

4 And if it is a female, then your valuation shall be thirty shekels;

5 and if from a son of five years and up to twenty years old, then your valuation shall be for the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels;

6 and if from a son of a month and up to five years old, then your valuation shall be for the male five shekels of silver, and for the female your valuation is three shekels of silver;

7 and if from a son of sixty years and above, if it is a male, then your valuation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.
