22 And when the three hundred rams’ horns sounded, the LORD {YHWH} set all the men in the camp against one another with their swords. The army fled to Beth-shittah (house of the acacia) toward Zererah [Zeredah] as far as the border of Abel-meholah (meadow of dancing) near Tabbath (celebrated). 23 Then the men of Israel (he wrestles with God) were called out from Naphtali (wrestling), Asher (happy), and all Manasseh (causing to forget), and they pursued the Midianites (strife). 24 Gideon (hewer) sent messengers throughout the hill country of Ephraim (doubly fruitful) to say, “Come down against the Midianites (strife) and seize the waters of the Jordan (flowing down) ahead of them as far as Beth-barah (house of the ford).” So all the men of Ephraim were called out, and they captured the waters of the Jordan as far as Beth-barah. 25 They also captured Oreb (raven) and Zeeb (wolf), the two princes of Midian (strife); and they killed Oreb at the rock of Oreb and Zeeb at the winepress of Zeeb.
