9 Then the LORD {YHWH} said to Joshua (YHWH saves), “Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt (land of bondage) from you⁺.” So that place has been called Gilgal (roll) to this day. 10 On the evening of the fourteenth day of the month, while the Israelites (God prevails) were camped at Gilgal (a wheel) on the plains of Jericho (city of palms), they kept the Passover.
