9 And YHWH has driven out from before you⁺ great and mighty nations; and as for you⁺, a man has not been able to stand against you⁺ to this day. 10 One man of you⁺ shall chase a thousand, for YHWH your⁺ God is He who is fighting for you⁺ as He promised to you⁺. 11 And exceedingly take heed to yourselves that you love YHWH your⁺ God. 12 For if you⁺ at all turn back and cling to the remnant of these nations, these that remain among you⁺, and make marriages with them, and go in to them, and they to you⁺, 13 then know for sure that YHWH your⁺ God will no longer drive out these nations from before you⁺, and they shall be to you⁺ snares and traps and scourges on your⁺ sides, and thorns in your⁺ eyes, until you⁺ perish from this good land that YHWH your⁺ God has given to you⁺.
