13 And to Caleb son of Jephunneh he gave a portion in the midst of the sons of Judah, according to the commandment of YHWH to Joshua—Kiriath-arba (the father of Anak), that is, Hebron. 14 And Caleb drove out from there the three sons of Anak—Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the sons of Anak. 15 And he went up from there to those dwelling in Debir; and the name of Debir was formerly Kiriath-sepher. 16 And Caleb said, “He who attacks Kiriath-sepher and takes it, I will give to him Acsah my daughter as wife.” 17 And Othniel son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it, and he gave to him Acsah his daughter for a wife. 18 And it came to pass, in her coming in, that she persuaded him to request from her father a field. And she dismounted from her donkey, and Caleb said to her, “What do you want?” 19 And she answered, “Give to me a blessing.
