12 And now, give to me this mountain, of which YHWH spoke in that day, for you heard in that day how the Anakim were there, and the cities were great and fortified. Perhaps YHWH will be with me, and I will dispossess them as YHWH has spoken.” 13 And Joshua blessed him and gave Hebron to Caleb son of Jephunneh as an inheritance. 14 Upon thus Hebron was to Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite the inheritance to this day, because that he wholly followed YHWH, God of Israel.
