24 This is what Moses (drawn out) had given to the clans of the tribe of Gad (troop): 25 The territory of Jazer (helped), all the cities of Gilead (rocky region), and half the land of the Ammonites (tribal) as far as Aroer (ruins), near Rabbah (great); 26 the territory from Heshbon (stronghold) to Ramath-mizpeh (high place of the watchtower) and Betonim (pistachio nuts), and from Mahanaim (two camps) to the border of Debir [Li-debir]; 27 and in the valley, Beth-haram (place of the height), Beth-nimrah (house of the leopard), Succoth (booths), and Zaphon (north), with the rest of the kingdom of Sihon (warrior) king of Heshbon (stronghold) (flowing down) (the territory on the east side of the Jordan up to the edge of the Sea of Chinnereth (the Sea of Galilee) 28 This was the inheritance of the clans of the Gadites, (troop) including the cities and villages.
