And Joshua was old, advanced in years, and YHWH said to him, “You are old, advanced in years, and very much of the land remains to be possessed.

This is the land that remains: All the territory of the Philistines and all of the Geshurite,

from Shihor, which is upon the face of Egypt, and as far as the border of Ekron northward, to the Canaanite it is reckoned; the five lords of the Philistines—the Gazite, and the Ashdodite, the Ashkelonite, the Gittite, and the Ekronite; and the Avite;

from the south, all the land of the Canaanite, and Mearah, that is to the Sidonians, as far as Aphek, to the border of the Amorite;

and the land of the Gebalites; and all Lebanon toward the rising of the sun, from Baal-gad below Mount Hermon to the entrance to Hamath.

All those dwelling in the hill country from Lebanon as far as Misrephoth-maim—all the Sidonians—I will drive them out from before the sons of Israel; only divide it by lot to Israel as an inheritance, as I have commanded you.

And now divide this land as an inheritance to the nine tribes and the half-tribe of Manasseh.”
