2 Sihon king of the Amorite, who dwelt in Heshbon, ruling from Aroer which is on the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the River, and half of Gilead, and as far as the Jabbok River, the border of the Ammonites, 3 and the plain to the Sea of Chinnereth eastward, and as far as the Sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea) on the east, the road to Beth-jeshimoth, and southward below the slopes of Pisgah.
