40 Therefore they took the body of Jesus and bound it in linen cloths with the spices, as is the custom among the Jews to prepare for burial. 41 Now there was a garden in the place where He was crucified, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one was yet having been laid. 42 Therefore because of the Preparation of the Jews and since the tomb was near, they laid Jesus there.
