23 Then the soldiers, when they crucified Jesus, took His garments and made four parts, to each soldier a part, and also the tunic. Now the tunic was seamless, woven from the top all throughout. 24 Therefore they said to one another, “Let us not tear it, but let us cast a lot for it, whose it will be,” so that the Scripture would be fulfilled, the one saying: “They divided My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast a lot.” Therefore indeed the soldiers did these things.
