6 I gave my back to those who beat me and my cheeks to those who pulled out my beard. I did not turn away my face from insults and spitting. 7 For the Lord GOD helps me, so I won't be disgraced. Therefore I've made my face like flint, and I know that I won't be put to shame.| Isaiah 50:6-7, Intl. Standard Version. Copyright © 1995-2014 by ISV Foundation.
