15 The LORD {YHWH} will devote to destruction (will completely dry up) the gulf \the tongue/ of the Sea of Egypt (land of bondage); with a scorching wind {ruachow} He will sweep His hand over the Euphrates \the River/. He will split it into seven streams for men to cross with dry sandals. 16 There will be a highway for the remnant of His people who remain from Assyria (a step), as there was for Israel (he wrestles with God) when they came up from the land of Egypt (land of bondage).
