19 For when Moses (drawn out) had proclaimed every commandment of the law to all the people, he took the blood of calves and goats, along with water, scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled the scroll (papyrus roll) and all the people, 20 saying, “This is the blood of the covenant {diathēkēs}, which God {Theos} has commanded you⁺ to keep 21 In the same way, he sprinkled with blood the tabernacle and all the vessels used in worship.
