1 Therefore, having left the word of the beginning of the Christ, we should carry on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith in God, 2 teaching of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of the resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And this we will do, if God may permit. 4 For it is impossible for those once having been enlightened, and having tasted of the heavenly gift, and having become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and having tasted the goodness of God’s word and the power of the coming age— Hebrews 6:1-5, Berean Literal Bible.
