1 So Israel (he wrestles with God) set out with all that he had, and when he came to (well of seven) Beersheba, he offered sacrifices to the God {Elohe} of his father Isaac (he laughs). 2 And that night God {Elohim} spoke to Israel (he wrestles with God) in a vision: “Jacob, Jacob (he grasps the heel)!” He said. “Here I am,” replied Jacob. 3 “I am God, He said, “the God {Elohe} of your father. Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt (land of bondage), for I will make you into a great nation there. 4 I will go down with you to Egypt (land of bondage), and I will surely bring you back. And Joseph’s (YHWH has added) own hands will close your eyes.” Genesis 46:1-4, Berean Annotated Bible. Public domain.
