6 Then he came to the gate that faced east and climbed its steps. He measured the threshold of the gate; it was 10 1 /2 feet deep—one threshold was 10 1 /2 feet deep. 7 Each recess was 10 1 /2 feet long and 10 1 /2 feet deep, and there was a space of 8 3 /4 feet between the recesses.
