4 And the sons are hard of face and strong of heart; to them I am sending you, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord YHWH.’ 5 And they, whether they hear, or whether they refuse—for they are a rebellious house—they will know that a prophet has been in their midst. 6 And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or of their words; do not be afraid—if briers and thorns are with you and among you scorpions are sitting!—Of their words, and do not be afraid of their faces, and do not be dismayed, for they are a rebellious house. 7 And you shall speak My words to them, whether they hear or whether they refuse—for they are rebellious. 8 And you, son of man, you must hear what I am going to say to you: Do not come to be rebellious like this house of rebellion! Open your mouth and eat what I am giving to you.” 9 And I looked, and behold, a hand was stretched out to me, and behold, in it was a scroll of a book. 10 And He spread it out before my face, and it was written on the face and on the back; and written on it were lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
