2 And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lorde thy God led thee this fourtie yeres in the wildernesse, for to humble thee, & to proue thee, and to knowe what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest kepe his comaundementes, or no. 3 He humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, & fed thee with Manna, which neither thou nor thy fathers knewe of, to make thee knowe that a man doth not lyue by bread only: but by euery worde that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lorde, doth a man lyue. 4 Thy rayment waxed not olde vpon thee, neither dyd thy foote swell these fourtie yeres.
