Deuteronomy 8:10-14 ▼

10 And you will eat and be satisfied; and you will bless YHWH your God for the good land that He has given you.

11 Take heed to it that you do not forget YHWH your God, by not keeping His commandments and His ordinances and His statutes, which I command you today—

12 lest you eat and be satisfied and build and inhabit beautiful houses;

13 and your herd and your flock multiply, and your silver and your gold multiply to you, and all that is to you is multiplied;

14 and your heart is lifted up, and you forget YHWH your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery;
