16 He will cause him to be jealous with strangers, With abominations they will irritate him. 17 They will sacrifice to demons, not God; Gods they have not known them New ones came out from the midst; Your fathers not having feared them. 18 Thou wilt forsake the Rock begetting thee, And thou wilt forget God setting thee free. 19 And God will see and will reject, From the irritating of his sons and his daughters. 20 And he will say, I will hide my face from them; I will see what shall be after them: For they a generation of perverseness, Sons no faith in them. 21 They made me jealous with not God; They irritated me with their vanities: And I will make them jealous with not a people; With a foolish nation will I irritate them.
