27 And when it was the fourteenth night, we being borne along in the Adriatic Sea, about the middle of the night the sailors surmised that some country was coming to them. 28 And having sounded, they found it twenty fathoms; and moving on a short distance, and sounding again, they found it fifteen fathoms; 29 and fearing lest they may fall out against rough places, casting four anchors from the stern, they were praying that the day should come.
