12 The whole assembly fell silent as they listened to Barnabas (son of encouragement) and Paul (humble) describing the signs and wonders God {Theos} had done among the Gentiles {ethnesin} through them. 13 When they had finished speaking, James (supplanter / follower) declared, “Brothers, listen to me! 14 Simon \Simeon/ has told us how God {Theos} first visited the Gentiles to take from them {ethnōn} a people to be His own.
