2 and as they were ministring to the Lord, and fasting, the holy Spirit said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul, for the work to which I have called them. 3 Then having fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them they sent them away. 4 These therefore being sent forth by the holy Spirit came down to Seleucia, and from thence they sailed away to Cyprus. 5 And when they arrived at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John for their assistant.
