9 When King Toi (Tou) of Hamath (fortress) heard that David (beloved) had defeated the entire army of Hadadezer (Hadad is help), 10 he (wander) sent his son Joram (Hadoram) to greet King David (beloved) and bless him for fighting and defeating Hadadezer (Hadad is help), who had been at war with Toi.
