16 And he said to him, “Thus says YHWH: Because that you have sent messengers to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, is it because there is no God in Israel to inquire of His word? Therefore the bed to which you have gone up there, you shall not come down from it. For you will surely die.” 17 And he died according to the word of YHWH that Elijah had spoken.
