23 Then the archers shot King Josiah, who said to his servants, “Take me away, I am seriously wounded.”

24 His servants took him from his own chariot, placed him in the one he had in reserve, and brought him to Jerusalem, where he died. He was buried in the tombs of his ancestors, and all Judah and Jerusalem mourned him.
