1 Some time after these events, Naboth (fruits) the Jezreelite owned a vineyard in Jezreel (God sows) next to the palace of Ahab (father's brother) king of Samaria (watch mountain). 2 So Ahab (father's brother) said to Naboth (fruits), “Give me your vineyard to use as a vegetable garden, since it is next to my palace.
