9 And his servant Zimri conspired against him (commander of half of the chariots) and he was in Tirzah drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza, who was over the house in Tirzah. 10 And Zimri went in and struck him and killed him in the twenty-seventh year of Asa king of Judah, and he reigned in his place. 11 And it came to pass when he began to reign, at his sitting on his throne, that he killed all the house of Baasha. He did not leave to him one who urinates against the wall, or of his redeemers, or of his friends. 1 Kings 16:9-11, Berean Literal Bible. Public domain.
