26 And Solomon gathered chariots and horses, and were unto him a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horses, and he placed them in the chariot cities and with the king in Jerusalem. 27 And the king made silver in Jerusalem as stones, and cedar trees he made as abundant as the sycamores that are in the Shephelah. 28 And were imported the horses that were to Solomon from Egypt and Kue; merchants of the king bought them from Kue at a price. 1 Kings 10:26-28, Berean Literal Bible.
