1 If I should speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become a sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I should have prophecy and should understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I should have all faith so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And if I should give away all my possessions, and if I should deliver up my body that I may boast, but have not love, I am profited nothing. 4 Love is patient, it is kind; love does not envy, love does not boast, it is not puffed up. 5 It does not act unbecomingly, it does not seek its own things, it is not provoked, it keeps no reckoning of evil. 6 It does not rejoice at unrighteousness, but it rejoices with the truth. 7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13:1-7, Berean Literal Bible.
