20 The descendants of Ephraim (doubly fruitful): Shuthelah (noise of breaking), Bered (hail) his son, Tahath (station) his son, Eleadah (God has adorned) his son, Tahath his son, 21 Zabad (he endows) his son, and Shuthelah (noise of breaking) his son. Ezer (treasure) and Elead (God has testified) were killed by the natives of Gath (winepress), because they went down to steal their livestock. 22 Their father Ephraim (doubly fruitful) mourned for many days, and his relatives came to comfort him. 23 And again he slept with his wife, and she conceived and gave birth to a son. So he named him Beriah (disaster), because tragedy had come upon his house. 24 His daughter was Sheerah (kinswoman), who built Lower and Upper Beth-horon (house of hollowness), as well as Uzzen-sheerah (portion of Sherah). 25 Additionally, Rephah (healing of the breath) was his son, Resheph his son, Telah (vigor) his son, Tahan (camp) his son, 26 Ladan (put in order) his son, Ammihud (my kinsman is majesty) his son, Elishama (my God has heard) his son, 27 Nun (Non) his son, and Joshua (YHWH saves) his son. 28 Their holdings and settlements included Bethel (house of God) and its villages, Naaran (juvenile) to the east, Gezer (portion) and its villages to the west, and Shechem (shoulder) and its villages as far as Ayyah (Ayyah) and its villages. 29 And along the borders of Manasseh (causing to forget) were Beth-shean (house of ease) (Beth-shan), Taanach (sandy), Megiddo (place of crowds), and Dor (generation), together with their villages. The descendants of Joseph (YHWH has added) son of Israel (he wrestles with God) lived in these towns. 1 Chronicles 7:20-29, Berean Annotated Bible. Public domain.
