1 These were the sons of David (beloved) who were born to him in Hebron (association): The firstborn was Amnon (faithful) by Ahinoam (my brother is delight) of Jezreel; the second was Daniel (God is my judge) by Abigail (my father is joy) of Carmel; 2 the third was Absalom (my father is peace) the son of Maacah (oppression) daughter of King Talmai (furrowed) of Geshur (proud beholder); the fourth was Adonijah (my lord is YHWH) the son of Haggith (festive); 3 the fifth was Shephatiah (YHWH has judged) by Abital (my father is the dew); and the sixth was Ithream (profit of the people) by his wife Eglah (a heifer). 1 Chronicles 3:1-3, Berean Annotated Bible.
